Suspect Arrested In Clayton Shooting

CLAYTON, N.C. -

Clayton Police have arrested and charged 46-year-old Frankie Devone Clark of 705 Lakeview Drive in the shooting of Dwight Thomas Ray.

Charges pending include assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious bodily injury, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of cocaine.

Ray remains hospitalized and the case remains under investigation.
